commentary

The Mary Cassatt Catalogue Raisonné Committee believes that Two Little Sisters has had some cosmetic alterations to the faces of the two children.

Robert B. Mayer, of the Consolidated Foods Corporation and the clothing firm Maurice L. Rothschild Company, collected art and helped to found the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
