Italian-born artist Luigi Corbellini (1901–1968) lived in Paris before moving to New York in the 1940s.

Dr. Albert Kinkade Chapman (d. 1984) first worked with the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester, New York, when posted there during World War I to develop an aerial camera. In 1919 he went to work for the company, staying for nearly 50 years and eventually serving as its chairman of the board before retiring in 1967.
